Mini Writers’ Den Program for Spring 2021
The Mini Writers’ Den is an opportunity for middle school students in the Malden Public Schools to participate in an after-school creative writing workshop in a supportive learning environment with direct supervision from a Tufts University student, Malden High School student mentors, and support from Malden Reads. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Malden Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
Malden Public Schools middle school students are invited to participate in the online 2021 Mini Writers’ Den after-school program, exploring writing skills and collaborating with students from other schools in Malden, led by a graduate student from Tufts. Students will learn from experts on what it’s like to be a professional chef and food writer, a sports writer, a costume/fashion writer, and a songwriter. Details and information on how to apply:
